This client's Customer Experience Management team focuses on building mobile applications that simplify healthcare for its members and providers. This team is investing in their consumer facing website and need a senior mobile automation tested to modify and establish automation processes for their mobile team.
The ideal candidate for this role has experience with building a test practice, developing Mobile QA processes and procedures, leading and nurturing testing culture, defining and executing on test strategy, but also someone who doesn’t shy away from rolling up their sleeves and writing test cases, defining test plans, and otherwise contributing wherever test team needs it.

Responsibilities:
- This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong software testing and quality assurance fundamentals and prior programming or test automation experience to handle responsibilities which span all phases of development.
- You will be responsible for defining test strategy, writing test cases and automated tests for multiple products within our portfolio in collaboration with other test engineers
- In early development phases, you will be asked to develop an automation test plan in partnership with engineering to cover the new features of the products.
- As development progresses, you will work closely with engineers and designers to build and run automated test suites and triage the failures.
- Along the way, you will build knowledge of issues with our products and expand the automation test suites to cover those.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of overall professional experience in the software testing/QA field
- 3+ years overall experience with Selenium Appium
- 5+ years overall experience in Web Apps and UI testing (Automation)
- Hands-on experience with designing, implementing, and performing tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle processes
- Ability to understand business requirements and provide appropriate testing solutions
- Familiarity with Humana’s testing toolchain and ecosystem:
- Postman
- Cypress
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving quality and customer experiences
- Ability to prioritize project requests and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong initiative, a good sense of humor, and a “we’ll figure it out together” attitude
- Understanding of agile software development principles and how they can be flexibly applied
- Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on multidisciplinary/balanced product development teams
- Healthcare business experience
- Experience working with remote distributed teams
