Job Description: Brooksource is looking for an Automation Engineer for a Fortune 50 client within the Healthcare Industry. You would be working within the Cloud Architecture Automation Team which focuses on infrastructure automation and self-service modules for infrastructure deployments. They also are responsible for end-to-end automation of infrastructure for different public cloud providers. The vision is to try and automate as many manual processes as possible across the enterprise that makes sense.

 

This role will require you to have experience creating new services in Azure and having prior experience with Azure infrastructure environments. Some of the services this group supports are Virtual Machines, storage accounts, data bricks, MongoDB, Atlas, and PostgreSQL. You will be responsible for going into the code (mostly Terraform) and adding/changing it to create new features. To be successful you will need a strong technical orientation, be a creative problem solver, be motivated to advance in the field and work well in a team-oriented environment. You will also have an opportunity to make an impact on highly visible projects across the organization with a team that is going to double in size! Looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, positive, and have a high level of aptitude.

 

Role Essentials:

  • Terraform Development
  • GitHub and workflow
  • Azure Infrastructure working knowledge
  • Programming in GO lang or equivalent
  • Azure DevOps
  • Azure certifications are a plus
