Technical Business Analyst

LA, California (Hybrid)

Long-term Contract

We are seeking an individual to work with a Fortune 50 Broadcast Media & Entertainment leader located in New York, New York (or put California). As the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Direct-to-Consumer organization with building a new common data platform that will help stich consumer data across the enterprise. In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement new It operations into the company from the initial idea to the project completion.

Minimum Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Data Analytics, or related field

·      5+ years of industry experience as a technical business analyst, specifically supporting data teams or data platforms

·      Experience coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines working with staff

·      5+ years of experience implementing at least one end-to-end data support project or implementation

·      Experience working with Sr. Data Architects, Data Engineers, and reporting analysts

·      Excellent documentation and presentation skills while working with key stakeholders within an organization

·      Direct knowledge or experience working on a big data ecosystem

Responsibilities:

·      Identifying gaps and similarities between 2 platforms to identify and mitigate requirements for overall roadmap

·      Determining the requirements to combine data into one model, and sharing these with the data teams associated

·      Publishing and/or presenting design reports to key business stakeholders

·      Identifying areas for improvement in current systems/ what it will take for current system to get to combined state

·      Assist in creating a conceptual Data Model to be used across the enterprise

·      Assess and Alert data separation and security as it relates to consumer data

·      Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines working with staff PM

·      Implement new IT operations into the company from the initial idea to the project completion*

·      Draft statistical reports that assist decision-makers in choosing the right programs

·      Manage technical difficulties, working with developers when necessary
