Seeking a contingent worker to support the EAM Maximo team supporting Supply Chain or RRE or Other lines of business within the EAM Business Support team due to the retirement of a permanent Duke employee.
Responsibilities:
- This role will have primary responsibility for providing support for related functions and features within Maximo and interfaced tools.
- This role encompasses providing daily support for users, execution of testing for system corrections and for lifecycle validation testing to ensure that there are no adverse effects from system changes due to enhancements or correction of defects.
- Expectations for daily support can be defined as resolving user issues, identifying the root cause of an issue, determining if issues are training-related, data-related, or system-related, identifying enhancements, capture of design details, various methods of testing, etc.
- The candidate will be expected to assist team members with other areas of support within the EAM Portfolio of software applications during periods of high activity. A high degree of collaboration is expected with existing EAM Support staff and with users and leaders.
Desired qualification:
- Preference would be given to candidates with detailed Supply Chain knowledge and experience, Knowledge and use of Maximo and candidates that are quick to pick up new work processes.
Other:
- Candidate would be expected to be formally on call twice a year and expected to perform testing and some work when needed after normal business hours.
