JOB TITLE: Product Strategy Manager (Marketing)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Manager, Product Strategy (Marketing), responsible for building product strategy and roadmaps that aligned to the clients’ marketing strategy and desired business outcomes. This role requires a seasoned professional with a robust understanding of MarTech systems, strategic thinking, and business acumen. The Manager will be responsible for creating and managing marketing technology initiatives, developing business cases, and collaborating with IT to estimate initiatives. This role necessitates close collaboration with senior and mid-level business partners to communicate the roadmap and initiatives and to align on priorities. Success in this role hinges on effective collaboration with business partners across the organization and technology partners throughout IT, requiring superior soft skills to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Technology Strategist
– Build relationships with marketing teams, leadership, and functional teams to understand and communicate their priorities.
– Leveraging your deep understanding of the MarTech stack, including data warehouse technologies (SQL Server, Salesforce, Databricks), Adobe Campaign, Sitecore, CMS, and Digital Asset Management systems.
– Actively participate in marketing planning cycles and reviews, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage technology for growth.
– Perform market research and identify technology trends to support needed marketing capabilities.
– Understand consumer, owner, and guest needs in the vacation ownership (VO) context.
– Create strategies for qualifying leads in the timeshare marketing space.
Product Strategy and Roadmap Development
– Build and maintain product and capability roadmaps for marketing technologies.
– Create compelling stories and value propositions for new initiatives.
– Develop business cases, including ROI analysis and present value calculations.
– Align marketing technology initiatives with the overall enterprise strategy.
Stakeholder Management and Communication
– Communicate effectively with MarTech teams, data teams, and IT departments to explain priorities and strategies.
– Bridge the gap between marketing teams’ autonomous technology decisions and IT’s strategic initiatives.
– Present strategies and roadmaps to executive-level stakeholders.
Demand and Portfolio Management
– Manage the demand pipeline between marketing units and IT teams.
– Prioritize requests for new initiatives, enhancements, and new development across the marketing technology portfolio.
– Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
– Assess technical debt and overall value of the technology portfolio.
Performance Measurement and Optimization
– Develop and track KPIs that drive consumer satisfaction and engagement.
– Analyze long-term value and strategic fit of marketing technologies and initiatives.
– Balance short-term revenue opportunities with long-term strategic goals.
Qualifications:
· 5-7 years of experience in marketing technology or related fields.
· Vacation Ownership (VO) experience is preferred.
· Strong understanding of standard MarTech technology stacks and data warehouse architectures.
· Familiarity with ETL processes and data management principles.
· Experience executing digital marketing, email, and tele-campaigns.
· Understanding of web digital strategies.
· Proven ability to create business cases and value propositions.
· Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to executive-level stakeholders.
· Experience in strategic planning and/or business analysis in a marketing context.
· Ability to influence and collaborate across organizational boundaries.
· Critical thinking skills and comfort with ambiguity.
· Knowledge of financial concepts such as ROI, present value, and long-term strategic planning.
