Change Manager / Knowledge Manager

3 Month Contract

$45-$50/Hour DOE

Full Remote

As a Change Manager / Knowledge Manager, you will support the execution of Change Management and Knowledge Management methodologies including role & responsibility changes, training requirements, process improvement analysis and strategy implementation & communication strategies. You must have the ability to understand the effects of change in an organization and how to mitigate challenges. You’ll engage with senior level government customers to analyze their environment and support and execute change management and knowledge management plans. You will use your experience and knowledge of organizational change models, combined with a deep understanding of your client’s operating environment to support and execute a customized decision support plan and process improvement projects. You’ll assess how a change will impact business processes and organizational design so you can help develop communications and training plans to facilitate the process. You will help the customer frame their change and knowledge management needs in an evolving environment of agile processes, automation, advanced analytics, robotics, artificial intelligence and organizational level digital transformations. As onsite change support, your client will look to you to help them pivot as needs arise throughout the change cycle.

Responsibilities and Daily Tasks:

· Apply a structured methodology and support change and knowledge management initiatives

· Apply processes and tools to support and execute strategies for adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative

· Drive Process Improvement identification

· Drive communication efforts

· Drive the design, development, delivery and management of communications

· Assess overall change impacts and recommend actions to support new process & system adoption

· Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders

· Support training efforts

· Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs

· Complete change management assessments

· Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation plans

· Identify and manage anticipated resistance

· Support and engage senior leaders

· Conduct Senior Leader interviews, assessments and execute mentorship programs

· Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities

· Collaborate with other specialists and key stakeholders globally

· Evaluate and ensure user readiness

· Track, report and remediate issues

· Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

· Support change management and knowledge management at an organizational level

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· BA or BS degree required

· 2+ years of experience supporting a DOD or large commercial organization

· 2+ years of experience with industry methods for organizational design, process improvement, organizational change management, or performance optimization

· 2+ years of experience in the facilitation of process improvement or business or organizational transformation workshops, sessions, and off-sites

· Experience with designing, coordinating, and deploying qualitative and quantitative data collection and analyses

· Must be adaptable and have the drive to learn new technologies and frameworks to support developing client solutions

· Produces reports and communications suitable for government customers that include statuses, analysis, and recommendations to deploy and improve organizational Change Management and Knowledge Management programs and initiatives

· Communication: Must be able to explain analysis process and translate results into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences

· Teamwork: Must be accountable for individual responsibilities while working collaboratively with development and engineering teams to achieve project deliverables

· Comfort in an agile development environment (e.g. writing stories, participating in workshops, sprint planning and retros)
