Our client is needing a Data Engineer to join their Medicare Risk Analytics team. This team is responsible for creating reports surrounding audits of Medicare and Medicaid claims data for internal leadership teams. This team is expanding their national coverage and are adding to the team to help accommodate this growth. To be successful in this role you'll need to be extremely data literate and able to tell stories when presented with mass amounts of data.
As you get accustomed to the role, you will begin with creating SQL queries and data story telling. Once you have an understanding of the team, you will begin working with customers to gather requirements around what is needed for their report and then you will be tasked with building these reports from scratch. This team will be working with SQL and PowerBI to gather data and build reports. An ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power BI or a comparable tool and will be able to hit the ground running.

- 2+ years' experience as a Power BI Developer (QLIK, tableau or similar tools would be acceptable)
- 2+ Years with SQL
- Experience with report building for external users to C-Suite executives
- Experience working with large data sets
- Azure or comparable cloud knowledge would be a plus
- Excellent communication skills and leadership competencies
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment or good familiarity with the Agile methodologies
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
