DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

The DevOps Infrastructure Engineer will serve as a bridge between the development, infrastructure, and operations teams. This person will be responsible for collaborating with teams to design and improve the software development pipeline while also identifying interdependencies and productivity barriers among the teams. This person will also ensure that application performance is meeting requirements, supported systems are meeting desired SLA’s, and will assist in the development and support of applications across the infrastructure environment.

Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5 – 7 years’ experience with systems engineering or administration.
- Experience with VMware, OpenShift, container-based applications, databases, and networks.
- Experience supporting large server infrastructures.
- Experience with continuous code deployment, test-driven development, and release management.
- Understanding of network protocols server communications.
- Understanding of cloud-based application integrations and software as a service implementations.
- Create architectural diagrams, design specifications, and support documentation.
- Understanding of full stack design.
Responsibilities
- Performs design, implementation, and management of CI/CD tools and processes
- Performs administrative functions of CI/CD systems for COBOL, JAVA, and DB2 database environments
- CI/CD functions with appropriate IT departments to ensure error free implementations
- Manage the implementation, support and administration of change management software tools, processes, and procedures
