6-month Contract to Hire
Brooksource is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Healthcare Client who serves over 16 million members in several states, including Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to help them manage and deliver a wide range of IT projects, with a focus on mainframe, cloud, and infrastructure.
As a Project Coordinator, a backing knowledge in mainframe, cloud, and infrastructure will be necessary as you will play a critical role in the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of these IT projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your deep technical knowledge in these areas will be essential in effectively coordinating and communicating with IT teams and stakeholders.
Project Planning and Scheduling:
· Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones for IT projects related to mainframe, cloud, and infrastructure.
· Collaborate with project managers to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
· Identify and allocate necessary resources, both human and technical, to meet project requirements.
· Coordinate with IT teams to ensure the availability of skilled personnel.
· Maintain regular and effective communication with project stakeholders, providing status updates, issue resolution, and project progress reports.
· Ensure that project objectives align with business goals and expectations.
· Identify potential risks and issues in project execution and develop mitigation strategies.
· Proactively address challenges to ensure project success.
· Oversee quality control and assurance activities to ensure that project deliverables meet the highest standards.
· Perform regular assessments and audits to verify compliance with project specifications.
Documentation and Reporting:
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, and reports.
· Prepare and present project performance reports to senior management.
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of project coordination experience in Information Technology, with a strong background in mainframe, cloud, and infrastructure projects.
· Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
