Brooksource is looking for a Desktop Field Technicians to work with one of our clients in the Northwest Atlanta area. As a Field Technician, you will be providing overall end-user customer service within a break/fix & hardware troubleshooting capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Out of the gates, you will be responsible for providing inventory management for the hospital and other facilities in preparation for a merger and EPIC upgrade.
  • Maintain and provide technical support to the company’s phones and computer systems including, but not limited to, installing and troubleshooting software programs, hardware devices, operating systems, mobile devices, printers, faxing products, Avaya phone configurations.
  • Document where the hardware devices are being deployed within the organization for multiple projects, acquisitions, and go-lives as it relates to the IT infrastructure
  • Assist with and adheres to, policies, procedures, processes for supporting approved standard PC, printer, PDA, application configurations.
  • Responsible for building computers utilizing Symantec Ghost Solutions, allocating users to the correct organizational unit within active directory, email setups utilizing outlook and to provide solutions to spyware and malware.
  • Utilize Microsoft System Center 2012 to connect remotely to user’s computers, check status, configurations and to push software via Software Center.
  • To ensure new users are equipped with the appropriate technical devices and support.
  • Responsible for replacing, relocating and upgrading computer hardware as requested.
  • Assisting in actively maintaining proper documentation, inventory, and licensing

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years within a Service Desk and/or Field Services role with direct end-user experience within an enterprise-level environment.
  • Windows 10 experience
  • Knowledge of Office365 suite
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, has a commitment to customer service.
  • Communicates effectively with all applicable customers and age groups.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize tasks, analyze problem situations and determine effective solutions to problems
  • CompTIA A+ Certification highly desired
  • MDM experience highly desired

Perks & Logistics:

  • You will be reporting directly to the Service Desk & Field Service Manager, who we are working directly to fill this job opening.
  • This is high visibility to a hospital merger in which you'll be exposed to many leaders on the forefront of these efforts.
  • This is a 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM schedule with no chance of working remotely.
  • Business casual (Slacks & Button Down).
  • Free parking lot right in front of their building.
