Architecture Senior Advisor – Foundational Data Architecture
- Ability to perform conceptual, solution and technical data platform architecture on cloud, on-premise, on-premise to cloud and cloud to on-premise environments focusing on AWS and Databricks environments
- The majority of this documentation will be delivered through Confluence; extremely capable of creating
- Experience with data migration from on-premise to cloud, cloud-to-cloud, and cross-cloud environments, migrating data between:
- On-premise Hadoop and cloud relational databases
- On-premise Hadoop and Delta Lake entities
- Teradata + Teradata Vantage and Delta Lake data structures
- Teradata – TDUtils, Querygrid external data connectors, transports
- Delta Lake entities and Snowflake databases
- Hands-on experience with Databricks along with an understanding of Unity Catalog, how it integrates with Otka and active directory structures, and how column and row based filtering might be managed
- Understand the difference and purpose of different data lake table formats such as Iceberg, Delta Lake and Hudi, and how data inserts and updates are accomplished by each
- Nice to have: Ability to understand common healthcare data models (e.g. OMOP) and take them into consideration with architecting data lake and product-based environments
- Tools: AWS services and tools – focusing on data, Databricks, Snowflake, Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, Redshift, RDS, graph databases, Starburst or Denodo, Collibra, Alation, Confluence
