Website Testing JavaScript Developer

The Website Testing JavaScript Developer is a critical member of the Digital Analytics and Personalization Implementation team at Foot Locker, Inc. This individual will be responsible to create and maintain and various types of consumer-facing tests on the websites. This developer will also support the tagging implementation requirements for the websites.

Responsibilities

·        Develop new user-facing features using Adobe Launch, Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics

·        Ability to build reusable code and libraries for future use

·        Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

·        Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability within Single Page Application framework

·        Participate in Agile methodologies like Sprint and SCRUM

·        Do peer code reviews

·        Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

·        Create and update documentation for stakeholders and knowledge base

Skills and Qualifications

·        Solid understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds

·        Understanding of Single Page Applications like ReactJS

·        Experience with web analytics tagging implementations like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics

·        Experience with web optimization solutions like Adobe Target or Optimizely

·        Expert knowledge of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3

·        Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

·        Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues

·        Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance

·        Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

·        Experience with a responsive design for desktop/mobile

·        Ability to work in an Agile environment

·        Experience with web accessibility
