Junior Frontend Developer

As the Jr. Frontend Developer for this large retail client, you will help to develop and implement solutions of high performing and reusable code for UI components! Candidates must have exceptional JavaScript skills with a conceptual understanding of the React framework. If you are looking for an exciting, fast paced environment to start your career in, this is the role for you!

Minimum Requirements:

·        Practical experience developing with JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML and CSS

·        Strong preference for experience with React

·        Positive attitude and willingness to learn with peers and management

Responsibilities:

·        Develop and implement solutions of high performing and reusable code for UI components.

·        Utilizes expertise and skills to work with project team members to follow best practices for usability and performance design of user interface.

·        Communicates with project team members and stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.

·        Working in a collaborative team environment.

·        Being highly motivated to accomplish team goals in a fast-paced environment.

·        Develop detailed technical specifications based on standards and guidelines.

·        Develop code to specifications, based on standard development and documentation standards, best practices and per compliance rules.

·        Track and resolve functional defects of varying sizes and severity
