.NET Engineer – DevOps

Job Description:

  • Design, develop and maintain healthcare applications and components including browser-based single page apps, microservices using .net, Microsoft Azure, TypeScript, testing tools, Monitoring tools, DevOps.
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all DevOps activities: Job Monitoring, Incidents, War Room, Pro-Active Monitoring and Automation, Certificate renewals, Reporting, Documentation – Change Management, Problem Management.
  • Develop client applications components using Angular, Typescript, CSS and other software development tools and technologies per assigned tasks
  • Develop RESTful webservices using .net Web API, C#
  • Develop Web application using ASP.Net MVC
  • Develop microservices using integration/collaboration concepts, technologies, and patterns – such as REST, JSON, message queues
  • Develop unit and integration tests for all written software programs and components. Follow test driven development approach
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge transfers.
  • Document and communicate design and application code specifications and details to other team members
  • Mentor junior developers on the team with programming standards
  • Adapt to new programming languages, methodologies, platforms and frameworks to support the business needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Equivalent combination of education, experience.
  • 5 years’ programming and full software development life-cycle experience
  • 5 years’ web service API development experience using .net Web API, C#, ASP.NET MVC
  • 5 years’ experience with RDBMS like MSSQL/ORACLE/MySQL 
  • 5 years hands-on experience building automation in one or more Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments using Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps.
  • 5 years working on IaC/provisioning tools – Terraform, ARM templates.
  • 5 years working on Kubernetes – Helm Charts
  • 4 years’ experience in implementing 360 degree monitoring of microservices for quick alerting of any problems
  • 4 years’ experience in configuring and operating Azure monitoring, metrics and logging systems (Application Insights, Log Analytics/KQL) or other systems (ELK, Splunk).
  • 4 years’ experience TypeScript/JavaScript and CSS
  • 4 years’ experience with web UI frameworks such as Angular
  • 2 years’ DevOps experience 
  • 2 years’ experience working with Public Azure
  • Scripting/automation development skills (PowerShell, Python, Shell script).
  • Experience in analyze dump files and error codes and provide Root Cause Analysis
  • Ability to perform assigned software development tasks using established standards and procedures without any supervision
  • Strong technical skills including solid understanding of software development methodologies and principles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of functional programming concepts
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Ability to meet scheduled task requirements within assigned deadlines
  • Ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
  • DevOps certifications
  • Good to have Azure Certifications: Azure fundamental (AZ-900) or Azure DevOps (AZ-400) or Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
  • Candidate should have good analytical skills and should be able to understand and present trends in business metrics to senior leadership.
