Brooksource is searching for a project manager for our Fortune 500 Energy partner located in St. Petersburg, FL for an ongoing contract with potential for extension or hire. This is the ideal opportunity to support a growing team and learn about a large Telecom environment. This position offers the ability to work remote with expenses paid as there will be travel involved to regional sites. Our Energy client is expanding their tower network and you will be overseeing and managing the different tower builds.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

·     Oversee material management and supply chain changes of different project groups.

·     Manage multiple projects using agile methodologies using Jira Kanban boards.

·     The Project Manager II may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Senior Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to executive management).

·     Oversee project teams consisting of engineering and field personnel.

·     Act as primary company contact for Duke Energy Telecom ensuring single point interface for your team and complete customer satisfaction.

·     Develop and implement strategies to expedite Telecom work with transmission and distribution.

·     Coordinate with implementation coordinator to utilize internal resources to support various telecom obligations and requirements.

·     Track and report project status outlining project performance and accomplishments.

·     Work directly with your team to forecast all field work on weekly basis.

·     Other projects and duties as assigned, which could include other territories workload.

·     Maintain all documents, E-mails and notes on a project on a shared location for future review.

 

Required Qualifications:

·     Minimum of 4 years of Agile Project Management experience.

·     Graduation from a four-year college or university.

·     Knowledge of Telecom

·     Demonstrated record of completing projects on time and within budget.

·     Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

·     Ability to provide clear, concise and professional communications to customers and team members at all levels across the organization.

·     Ability to effectively facilitate individual and group meetings and discussions.

·     Ability to define and prioritize problems and work, collect and organize data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and projections.

·     Ability to anticipate implications and prepare contingency plans.

·     Working knowledge in project-related Scheduling/Cost Controls

·     Utility Technical Certifications/Training; PMP, or CAPM Certification; CMII/Construction Certifications, Professional Engineer License.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·     Graduation from a four-year college or university.

·     Utility Technical Certifications/Training; PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification; CMII certificates; Professional Engineer License.

·     Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls.

·     Experience in utility industry.

·     Knowledge in construction management.
