SUMMARY

Brooksource is looking for an accomplished React Native Mobile App developer with 4+ years of mobile application experience to join our largest healthcare client. A successful candidate will have extensive experience building complex mobile applications backed by RESTful JSON APIs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development of React Native applications for iOS and Android
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and accessibility
  • Write clear, concise and well documented code
  • Technical Lead on one or more project squad
  • Create and manage tasks for junior developers on the squad
  • Review code and coordinate releases with other squads
  • Create private NPM packages

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of software development experience
  • 4+ years of mobile app development experience – React Native
  • Experienced in building mobile applications that consume RESTful JSON APIs
  • Experience working with distributed development teams within an agile environment
  • Deep understanding of how to optimize React Native apps for iOS and Android, including offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Additional experience in the following is preferred: Git, Redux, Mobile UI

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using Azure Dev Ops for project management.
  • Experience using Code Push for app updates
  • Experience leading/mentoring a team
