6 Month Contract-to-Hire

 

As a Release Manager for our Fortune 5 Healthcare client, you will bring your IT, SDLC, and release and change management experience to protect and manage the movement of releases to the production environment. You will manage various software releases, working with the development teams to provide complete release requests and enforce policies around lead times, install windows, and other requirements.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·        3+ years of IT experience with a technical understanding of enterprise applications including an understanding of development/deployment tools, enterprise production environments and install requirements, including batch jobs

·        1-2 years of release management and change processes experience at an enterprise level

·        Strong leadership, written communication, and presentation skills with the ability to lead Change Advisory Board meetings and providing reports to senior leadership

·        Ability to work with 6-8 scrum teams at a time, managing 40-60 deployments every week

·        Preferred: Experience working with Quickbase and/or ServiceNow applications

 

Responsibilities:

·        Manage software releases to protect and coordinate the movement of releases to the production environments

·        Collaborate with the development teams submitting release requests to provide complete and accurate information

·        Assess risk and impact of releases, enforcing policies around lead times, install windows, and other requirements

·        Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews and business go/no-go reviews

·        Work closely with senior leadership and various business stakeholders to provide reporting of status management and lead regular Change Advisory Board meetings
