Our client is looking for a Release Train Engineer to join their Enterprise Lean Agile Center of Excellence. This individual will interact directly with all internal customers across the enterprise. In particular, the individual in this role will assist in supporting our enterprise agile metrics, our agile maturity tool, and other agile tool adoption. This position combines technical skill with a customer-centric and curious mindset, where success is measured by our customer satisfaction & enterprise adoption. 

 

Required Qualifications 

·      3+ years of agile experience

·      Data analysis/reporting, including sophisticated use of Excel, PowerBI, or Tableau

·      ADO or Jira experience 

·      Excellent written and verbal communications skills 

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, including SharePoint 

·      Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving customer experiences

 

Preferred Qualifications 

·      RTE or Agile Coaching experience

·      Agile Maturity assessment tool such as Agility Health, Path 2 Agility, Comparative Agility

·      Quality Assurance (testing) experience 

·      Experience in collecting, preparing, organizing, and presenting documents in support of meetings 

 

Responsibilities:

·      Agile Metrics: Providing customer support for internal users in understanding, interpreting, and driving continuous improvement based upon agile metrics. Support releases & rollout communications, host office hours, validate new releases & business logic, troubleshoot prod issues. Interface with agile metrics cohort with representatives from across the enterprise on metrics releases/rollouts, and to shape strategy & backlog prioritization.

·      Continuous Improvement & Agile Maturity: Support users with training, onboarding, tool adoption, and action plans for Path to Agility (P2A) tool which measures agile maturity and enables teams/ARTs/portfolios to develop and implement their continuous improvement action plans. Partner with users on tool support, backlog prioritization, and general use. Collaborate with third-party vendor on releasees, testing & validation, & more.

·      Agile Tooling: Provide support for metrics and agile maturity backlog and incident tickets; may extend into general support for Azure DevOps (team work mgt tool) and Jira Align (enterprise agile planning tool). Maintain frequent updates and communication with requestor and provide white glove service. Develop expert-level familiarity with all enterprise agile tools with the ability to independently research issues related to configurations, permissions, and data integrity. 

·      Communication: Candidates for this role must have strong communication skills both verbal & written. Ability to communicate to across all levels in helping train & coach on metrics & tools in addition to managing communications on our Sharepoint site, emails and other various communication channels.

·      Collaboration: This role will be vital component of our enterprise agile LACE (Lean Agile Center of Excellence) and participate in all team ceremonies/meetings and will need to have general knowledge of the LACE’s standards and policies as they interrelate to day-to-day work.
