Job Title: SAFe Agile Coach
Company: Non-profit Health Insurance

Travel: Quarterly travel to Dayton, OH
Duration: 18-month Contract
Pay: $70-80/hr
About the Project:
Brooksource is looking for an Agile Coach to join the team at our leading healthcare provider client dedicated to improving the well-being and health outcomes of their members. As they embark on an exciting Agile transformation journey, they are seeking an experienced SAFe Agile Coach to guide and support their teams in adopting the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology. If you're passionate about healthcare, Agile methodologies, and have a strong background in guiding organizations through successful Agile transformations, they’d love to have you on their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Transformation Leadership: Lead and drive the successful adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) throughout the organization. Collaborate with leadership to establish a clear transformation strategy, goals, and timelines.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide expert guidance and coaching to Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders in the application of SAFe principles, practices, and ceremonies. Share best practices and facilitate continuous improvement.
- SAFe Implementation: Leverage your deep knowledge of SAFe to tailor and implement the framework within the healthcare context of Brooksource’s client. Ensure alignment between Agile teams, business objectives, and strategic initiatives.
- Healthcare Industry Expertise: Utilize your experience in the healthcare industry to understand and address industry-specific challenges, compliance requirements, and regulatory considerations within the Agile transformation process.
- Certified SAFe Practitioner: As a certified SAFe Practitioner, guide teams in the adoption of SAFe practices, artifacts, and roles. Help teams understand and execute the SAFe principles effectively.
- Scrum Master Experience: Leverage your previous experience as a Scrum Master to support and mentor Scrum Masters within Agile teams. Provide insights into team dynamics, servant leadership, and Agile best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives, identifying bottlenecks, and helping teams implement solutions that enhance efficiency and collaboration.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective communication regarding the Agile transformation progress.
Qualifications:
- SAFe Certification: Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or equivalent certification.
- Healthcare Industry Experience: Proven experience within the healthcare industry, understanding its unique challenges and regulations.
- Agile Transformation: Track record of leading successful Agile transformations within organizations, preferably using SAFe.
- Scrum Master Background: Previous experience as a Scrum Master, demonstrating a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to various stakeholders.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and influence teams without direct authority, fostering a collaborative and empowered Agile culture.
- Continuous Learning: Eagerness to stay updated with the latest trends in Agile methodologies, SAFe updates, and healthcare industry developments.
- Collaborative Mindset: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can build relationships at all levels of the organization.
