Position: Security/Access Analyst

Duration: 6+ month contract (options beyond)

Location: Regionally Remote to Louisville


Job Duties: In joining Brooksource’s Healthcare client as a Security/Access Analyst, you would be working with one of our best client relationships in a fast paced, high-energy environment. As a Security/Access Analyst, you will be responsible for identity and access management including but not limited to Active Directory, Windows, and ancillary systems. You will be responsible for auditing, provisioning and granting access to new accounts as well as the decommissioning of expired accounts in accordance with NI-IC life cycle practices. This resource could potentially be pulled onto a HRIS implementation as well depending on previous experience with HRIS systems. The IS Security Analyst will need to prepare responses to both internal and external security audit requests providing detailed and accurate information as it is resident within Active Directory.


  • (Required Technical Experience):
    • 3+ years (and a Bachelors) or 5+ years (and an Associates) of experience with Active Directory, Windows including:
      • ACL and NTFS permissions and policies
      • Organizational units
      • Adding folders
      • Modifying groups.
      • You should have a full understanding of how security works together in Active Directory.
    • Must be a self-starter
  • (Plus Technical Experience):
    • Previous experience with an HRIS system
      • Workday is preferred
    • One year healthcare experience
    • Three years’ experience in one of the following related fields: application security administration, network server and/or basic security knowledge
    • A+ (IT Certification)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional
    • EPIC Certification
    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
  • (Education Required) – Bachelor’s degree in computer science field or Associates degree in computer science field.
  • (Certification Required) – None Required
  • (Location) –Regionally remote to Louisville, KY
