Senior Software Engineer

3 Month Contract (rolling until conversion)

Job Summary:

The Senior Software Engineer produces solutions across our various platforms to assist in the production and delivery of our entertainment robots. They will support our product lines, write PLC code for individual projects, design interfaces for individual projects, and produce support programs for other activities. They are expected to be an integral part of the project teams and the R&D team.

The Senior Software Engineer will be expected to work directly with management on direction of development and project planning. They are expected to understand and use software industry best practices.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Support existing product lines
  • Create new product lines
  • PLC code for animated figures
  • HMI development for figures and attractions
  • Work within a dynamic team environment
  • Work within tight schedules
  • Apply industry best practices

Qualifications

  • 4 Year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years working experience (can include internships)
  • Experience working in a dynamic team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability in written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with some of the following (C, C++, C#, Delphi, Pascal, Structured Text, Java, Python, Unreal, Unity, Computer Vision)
  • Experience in the entertainment industry
  • Experience with Github or SVN
  • Delivered a product to market
  • Advanced mathematical skills
