Senior NOC Analyst

As a NOC Analyst specializing in Tool Administration, you will be the primary admin for several tools for our health insurance client’s network support center. You will start off as the primary admin for the network and application performance monitoring tool, Riverbed, that is specific to the Java App Server, and add a new CEM solution called Tea Leaf at the end of the year. In this role, you will lean on your networking knowledge to create tool monitors for your assigned tools and keep them update to date for the NOC team to maintain. Additionally, you will tackle installation agents requests and work closely with CMDB to track all servers and application relationships and performing any query modifications, as needed.


In this role, will need to move quickly, diligently and pay extreme attention to detail. This role will also give you solid experience in insurance, which is one of our oldest national industries.



Responsibilities and Qualifications:

·      Experience with tool administration within an Infrastructure environment.

·      Experience managing enterprise monitoring tools, incident recording/tracking with proper documentation.

·      Working knowledge of WAN/LAN needed.

·      Strong foundation in scripting knowledge, preferably PowerShell.

·      Experience with SQL query writing, preferred.

·      CNA, CCNA, or CCNP certifications, bonus.

·      Bachelor’s Degree desired, certifications can replace degree.
