Oracle Database Administrator

100% Remote

Our Fortune 10 Healthcare clients in the Twin Cities is looking for a Software Engineer/DBA to join their innovative Clinical IT team. In this role, you will be part of a large team (14 members) and help the team with database maintenance, tuning of queries, code review, development, and support. Successful candidates have a proven ability to network and lead without direct authority. Responsibilities:

  • Identify performance issues and offer proactive solutions and performance tuning
  • Participate in physical design, creation, and maintenance of databases
  • Apply table and view modifications
  • Monitor and tune database performance
  • Enhance and tune database queries
  • Oracle setup, configuration changes, etc.
  • Consult in the development of efficient tables and indexes
  • Provide recovery and support of databases as necessary

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of Experience with Oracle PL/SQL
  • 2+ Years of Experience working with a Linux Environment
  • 2+ Years of Experience as a DBA or Oracle Administrator
  • Strong understanding of Oracle PL/SQL working within a Databases/Datawarehouse environment
  • Experience building and maintaining databases.
  • Experience optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
  • Expertise with modern programming languages, systems, and architectures
