Franklin Lakes, NJ (remote due to COVID)

12-month Contract-to-hire

$40-42/hr depending on experience


As a Software Engineer, you will be designing and developing a chat bot for a Fortune 13 Health Insurance company. The software developer will work alongside a team of engineers to build this application from the ground up utilizing Java and Spring Boot. In addition, the software engineer will be utilizing JavaScript on the front-end to connect the application to Gensys, and Nuance software. This product will be used internally by all business groups across the organization. An ideal candidate should be obsessed with coding, design and development and be able to bring a tech-guru mindset to an enterprise scrum team for a brand new initiative and application.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred or the equivalent in education and experience
  • 2+ years of Java experience required, preferably in an enterprise environment
  • 2+ years of professional experience utilizing Spring Boot
  • 1+ year of professional Javascript experience
  • Professional Experience working in an agile environment, Scrum or Kanban
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes preferred


  • Develop and design an enterprise healthcare application from ground up
  • Develop, test, and prepare all code for production
  • Working with business end-users across the organizations
  • Work alongside an enterprise scrum team to define software requirements and code, test and debug the application
  • Integrate, Genesys, and Nuance into the application as the front end products
