Senior Mainframe Developer
Long-Term Contract, Remote Potential
As a Senior Mainframe Developer for Brooksource, you will be joining a highly visible and dynamic claims support team responsible for supporting claims applications within our health insurance portfolio. You will be working with applications that perform reconciliation for third party administration with attention to high-level financial accounting functions such as comparing money fields for balance. Additionally, this dynamic team is multi-faceted with various support areas such as: dental claims processing, coordination with pharmacy and mental health vendors, data archival, work-related injury claims, etc. Daily, will work both collaboratively and independently to knock out assigned projects and run real-time exchange of data and reconciliation off the largest databases in the organization.

· 3+ years of experience with IBM mainframe operating system.
· 3+ years of experience of COBOL development needed.
· Experience in an enterprise, DB2 environment needed.
· Experience with JCL and FTP are required.
· Experience with claims processing or claims support, bonus.
· Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
· Flexible team player.
· Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field.
