About the role:
As a Senior Product Manager within the Data Product Management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data and analytics capabilities. This is a newly formed team focused on addressing critical business challenges through robust data foundation capabilities, including a modern data platform, data governance with master data management practices, unified analytics for business KPIs, customer 360 data, and the integration of data APIs to enhance personalized shopping experiences and AI/ML models.
In this role, you will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from envisioning and strategy development to implementation. This includes collaborating with diverse set of stakeholders to understand their needs, defining a long-term product strategy, establishing a roadmap, working closely with platform and data engineering teams to build these capabilities, and driving product adoption. You will deliver business impact by drawing from your extensive knowledge and experience of data management and orchestration pipeline that becomes instrumental in delivering data analytics and platform capabilities to deliver competitive differentiation.
What you will do
- Dive deep into complex challenges faced by our external (Medicare consumers and Health Plans) and internal (Product Engineering, AI/ML, Analytics, Business unit) customers.
- Gather Voice of Customer and translate it into valuable insights to define and prioritize roadmap.
- Take ownership of product execution by partnering with data platform and data engineers to develop/configure and launch capabilities.
- Collaborate effectively with data customers to seamlessly integrate data product and platform capabilities into their workflows, AI/ML models, and business analytics.
- Define, own and measure the effectiveness of integration and capabilities adoption metrics.
- Contribute to the overall product strategy by establishing scalable data platform foundation.
What we are looking for
- 7+ years in Data & Technology Product Management or relevant positions, including roles such as Solution/Data Architect, Engineering & Analytics leadership.
- Exceptional ability to translate data & product strategy into executable and prioritized roadmap, considering cross-functional dependencies.
- Proven track record of iterative product delivery in data and analytics platform domain, API-based data products and analytics within enterprise software or healthcare technology industry.
- Broad familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, database systems, vendor product integration, APIs and emerging technology.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL, Data Lakehouse platforms (i.e., Databricks, Snowflake), Data Modeling, Warehousing best practices, and Data API management tools.
- Creative execution with ability to manage several initiatives in different stages of product lifecycle.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and virtual Collaboration.
- A systems thinker, effective written and verbal communicator, and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of organization.
