Sr. Project Manager
Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid)
12-month contract-to-hire
Brooksource's Fortune 20 grocery client based out of Cincinnati, OH is looking for a senior technology project manager (PM) to lead and deliver multiple workstreams within the Data Integration and Engineering Modernization (DIEM) program. This PM needs to be highly engaged in the work to organize and drive technical teams to milestones, and effective at resolving issues requiring collaboration of many stakeholders. This PM needs to demonstrate strong communication within and outside of the team to align dependencies. This individual will be able to keep technical teams on track and work to escalate issues as appropriate. This individual will receive guidance from a Kroger Program Manager but expected to take full project ownership shortly after being on boarded. Local to Cincinnati region is highly desirable.
Qualifications
· Self-starter with hands-on experience leading projects spanning multiple technical teams in a fast-paced, intense environment
· 3rd-party SaaS implementations
· Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget
· Advanced analytical, problem solving and expert communication skills
· Working knowledge of advanced project management process and practices following waterfall and/or agile methodologies
· PMP certification or equivalent work experiences required
Responsibilities
· Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules
· Establish and update project plans and budgets with actual and forecasts
· Design and implement the specific program governance model
· Conduct project meeting, project tracking and analysis
· Ensure all project objectives are clearly documented, and delivered to meet customer needs
· Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables
· Communicate timely project status to all stakeholders
· Manage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues
· Site-level installation / deployment planning and execution
· Demonstrated ability in team motivation and delegation.
· Must be able to travel to Kroger locations if deemed necessary.
