Brooksource is searching for a Support Analyst for the External Systems team of one of our enterprise-level P&C Insurance clients in the Birmingham, AL (Mountain Brook/Homewood) area. You will act as the main front line of support intake for all of their External Systems teams. The right person will have a passion for root cause analysis and digging deeper to resolve certain bugs for key customer-facing applications. You will partner with the software engineers to manage all incidents and act as a generalist troubleshooting a variety of different applications. 

You will be working with various areas of the business and have high visibility from senior leadership and management at various levels. You will gain exposure to multiple critical applications and have the opportunity to develop and manage business processes for external stakeholders while interacting with all elements of the business. This position will be part of a growing team of support resources who are dedicated to doing things the “right way”, always striving to leave something better than they found it and working hard to do so. 

Required skills:

·    SQL, SQL scripting

·    .Net Experience 

·    Understanding of Service Frameworks (REST, SOAP Services, etc.)

·    Strong Documentation Skills 

·    Strong attention to detail and ability to solve complex technical problems.
