Workday System Analyst
The Workday System Analyst will partner with Finance, HR, and IT, and all business segments to support the ongoing configuration and maintenance for Workday integrations, reporting, and business process framework. The individual serves as a business process point-of-contact for functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring business process functionality, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation, and problem resolution
• Analyze and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications
• Ensure integrations function as designed based on functional and technical requirements
• Consult with business and technical teams about process design and maintenance; collaborate with other architects and technical leads on design decisions
• Conduct unit and integration tests with solution architects.
• Understand and follow integration/development standards and best practices
• Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards
• Serve as subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities
• Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use Workday
• Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday
• Assist in testing of integrations, security with Workday road map enhancements
• Serve as resource to support and resolve Workday Help Desk issues
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of work experience
• 3+ years of experience in interface architecture
• Understand basic database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Professionalism and maturity in a collaborative, team-based environment
• Ability to work cohesively with others on the project team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills and process driven
• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information discreetly
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment on planned and unplanned responsibilities
• Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks, providing timely follow-up and resolution
Preferred Qualifications
• Workday PSA/Financials/HCM experience or training preferred
• Workday certification preferred
• Deep knowledge of Workday’s data model, security, configuration and business process framework
• Proficiency with Google Suite
