In this hybrid role, you will support IT portfolio reporting, data quality governance, and process automation. You will help build and maintain monthly executive-level status presentations, monitor risks and issues across the full project portfolio, and ensure data accuracy across systems. You will also have the opportunity to develop and publish Power BI dashboards, automate manual workflows, and act as a support resource for senior project managers across the organization. If you are eager to learn and grow your project management skills in a collaborative setting, we encourage you to apply!\n<\/p>\n<h3>WHAT YOU&#39;LL DO<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Track projects from initiation to deployment, acting as a horizontal support resource for senior project managers across the portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Work with principal and senior project managers to develop project documentation exemplifying financial health, project timelines, and project status<\/li>\n<li>Develop financial reports and monthly executive status presentations tracking project financials, actuals vs. forecast, issues, risks, and overall portfolio health for director-level review<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and enhance relationships with Finance, Business Units, and IT partners<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and support emergent initiatives and special assignments with a focus on sharing business process expertise, continuous improvement, and organizational effectiveness<\/li>\n<li>Assist with resource management and planning for various project workflows<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that consolidate project financial data (actuals, forecasts, and portfolio status)<\/li>\n<li>Monitor risks and issues across the full project portfolio and ensure data accuracy across systems<\/li>\n<li>Automate manual workflows to improve efficiency and support data quality governance<\/li>\n<li>Provide deliverables and process expertise as needed to support senior project managers and organizational goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>WHAT YOU BRING<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in management information systems, information technology, finance, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>Experience with or eagerness to learn about the project management lifecycle and project tracking<\/li>\n<li>Academic or professional experience with Power BI; ability to independently build and publish dashboards is a strong plus<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to create detailed, visually appealing slide decks in PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Experience with MS Office desktop technologies (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated planning skills with the delivery of long and short-term goals<\/li>\n<li>Strong judgment, excellent analytical ability, and consulting skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of IT and business<\/li>\n<li>Comfort navigating large-scale financial data and a willingness to develop financial acumen on the job; prior experience in a finance-adjacent role is a plus but not required<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":1257,"template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Chicago, Illinois","_application":"applications@staffingfuture.com","_company_name":"Brooksource","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[7],"class_list":{"0":"post-3608","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","7":"job-type-contract-to-hire"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Jr. Project Manager, Chicago Illinois<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Jr. Project Manager, Chicago Illinois - Search the latest healthcare jobs from Brooksource.
