This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who already has some hands-on experience with industrial systems and is ready to take the next step in developing expertise in PLC programming, HMI\/SCADA systems, industrial networking, and manufacturing automation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">You&#39;ll work alongside experienced engineers on real-world automation projects that directly impact production, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">System Support &amp; Development:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"> Assist senior engineers in all phases of automation projects, including the design, programming, and commissioning of control systems for new and existing manufacturing equipment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">PLC Programming:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"> Develop foundational skills in PLC programming, primarily utilizing<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\"> ladder logic, <\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">to support, troubleshoot, and optimize existing equipment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">HMI\/SCADA Implementation:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"> Support the development and maintenance of intuitive operator interfaces (HMI) and plant-wide SCADA systems, gaining exposure to our primary platforms: <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Inductive Automation Ignition<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"> and <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Rockwell FactoryTalk View (ME\/SE)<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Troubleshooting:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"> Participate in diagnosing and resolving electrical, software, and controls-related issues on the plant floor to help minimize equipment downtime and improve system reliability.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Documentation &amp; Standards:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"> Assist in creating and maintaining essential project documentation, including electrical schematics, program backups, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring adherence to established engineering standards.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Industrial Networking:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"> Learn to configure and troubleshoot industrial communication networks, including <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">EtherNet\/IP, Modbus, Profinet, and other Fieldbus<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">, ensuring seamless data flow between control devices.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Continuous Improvement:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"> Contribute to team initiatives focused on identifying opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction through automation solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Qualifications &amp; Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Education:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"> Bachelor&#39;s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related engineering or technical discipline.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Experience:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"> 0-2 years of relevant experience in a controls or automation-focused role.
