ABOUT THE ROLE<\/h3>\n

Our large food distribution client is seeking an eager-to-learn Junior Network Cloud Engineer to join their IT team. This is a full-time, entry-level position with a hybrid work schedule (four days onsite, one day remote) and a one-year contract-to-hire arrangement. The role is ideal for recent graduates or aspiring IT professionals looking to launch or accelerate their careers in the dynamic world of Information Technology.<\/p>\n

Role & Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Provision and manage GCP network infrastructure using Terraform to support a leading enterprise foodservice distributor's cloud, warehouse, logistics, and corporate applications.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Deploy and maintain VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, Cloud NAT, load balancers, and health checks to ensure secure, high-performing connectivity across a distributed enterprise environment.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support hybrid networking solutions, including Cloud VPN, VPC Peering, and Shared VPC, connecting cloud resources with on-premises distribution and business operations.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Monitor network health, performance, and capacity; proactively address issues to minimize disruption to critical supply chain and business systems.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues using Cloud Logging, VPC Flow Logs, and other monitoring tools.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Required Skills & Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • 1\u20133 years of hands-on experience with GCP networking, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise network operations.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of TCP\/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and IP addressing (CIDR).<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience with Linux, Terraform, and scripting (Bash or Python).<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to support highly available infrastructure in a fast-paced, business-critical environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • GCP Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE) or Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Familiarity with Git\/GitHub and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Experience supporting large-scale distribution, logistics, supply chain, or retail organizations.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
