This role is ideal for early-career technicians eager to develop their skills in mission-critical data center operations. You will support critical infrastructure across facilities in various operational stages, ensuring the continuous operation of the site. The position offers a clear path to a permanent role for the right candidate and requires adherence to strict safety and quality standards, participation in a 24\/7 support model, and occasional regional travel. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts (4&#215;10), 7:00 AM \u2013 5:30 PM, with weekend coverage subject to change. If you take ownership of your work, hold yourself to high safety and quality standards, and are eager to keep learning, we encourage you to apply.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>WHAT YOU&#39;LL DO<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Move, install, and implement large enterprise hardware and equipment within the data center environment<\/li>\n<li>Install and patch fiber and copper cabling between equipment; support rack installations<\/li>\n<li>Identify, research, troubleshoot, and resolve technical hardware and infrastructure issues; document, track, and monitor problems through to timely resolution<\/li>\n<li>Respond to requests for technical support across the site and follow well-established hardware installation and break-fix procedures<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper safety and security standards are maintained throughout all cabling and rack installation work<\/li>\n<li>Safely use material handling tools and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Participate in a 24\/7 support model, including primary responder rotation and after-hours support as needed<\/li>\n<li>Travel within and outside the regional work area as required<\/li>\n<li>Regularly lift and\/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for heavier equipment<\/li>\n<li>Work in cramped, elevated, and\/or noisy environments; ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation<\/li>\n<li>Bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing, and walking for up to 8+ hours a day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>WHAT YOU BRING<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>1+ year of experience in technical or vocational roles (e.g., computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to follow pre-established guidelines and procedures and work effectively under supervision<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver&#39;s license and access to reliable personal vehicle for regional travel (company transportation is not provided)<\/li>\n<li>Safety-first mindset with ownership, accountability, and commitment to continuous learning<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Industry-standard certifications such as CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+ (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to regularly lift\/move up to 40 pounds and participate in group lifts for heavier items<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in 24\/7 environments, including after-hours and primary responder rotation<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in cramped, elevated, and\/or noisy environments<\/li>\n<li>Physical ability for bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing, and walking for extended periods<\/li>\n<li>Ability to safely ascend\/descend ladders, stairs, and gangways without limitation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":1257,"template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Manassas, Virginia","_application":"applications@staffingfuture.com","_company_name":"Brooksource","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[7],"class_list":["post-6002","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job-type-contract-to-hire"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Technical Support Technician, Manassas Virginia<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Technical Support Technician, Manassas Virginia - Search the latest healthcare jobs from Brooksource.
