You&#39;ll gain exposure to every phase of the project lifecycle while developing technical expertise in substation design, performing engineering analyses, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting utility clients on critical infrastructure projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Support high-voltage substation projects (13kV\u2013765kV) from conceptual design through construction. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Develop engineering design packages, including physical layouts, protection &amp; control systems, grounding, lightning protection, lighting, and security systems. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Perform engineering calculations including grounding analysis, insulation coordination, battery sizing, AC\/DC station service, voltage drop, cable sizing, and conduit fill. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Prepare engineering deliverables including design drawings, equipment specifications, bill of materials, cost estimates, and construction documentation. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Apply IEEE, NESC, utility, and industry standards throughout the design process. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Participate in field visits and site inspections to support project execution and construction activities. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Support technical reports, client presentations, proposals, and other project documentation. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Perform design reviews and contribute to quality assurance\/quality control (QA\/QC) efforts. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Identify technical challenges and help develop practical engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Qualifications<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Bachelor&#39;s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited program. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">3+ years of substation engineering experience<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\"> supporting high-voltage utility or power delivery projects. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">For Engineering Technology degrees, successful completion of the <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\"> is required. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification preferred. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Working knowledge of substation engineering principles, industry standards (IEEE, NESC), and engineering design practices. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard engineering software. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Calibri;\">Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;
