This individual will support mechanical, electrical, and structural project teams by developing accurate 3D models and 2D design and construction documents. This role is ideal for an experienced Revit Designer or Drafter who has developed strong design capabilities and is comfortable taking engineering direction, sketches, and redlines and independently translating them into complete design deliverables.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Candidates may have a primary background in <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 13px;\">mechanical, electrical, or structural design<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">, with mechanical and electrical experience being particularly relevant to the team&#39;s current needs. This individual is not expected to be an expert across every discipline but should be willing to learn and provide design support across multiple disciplines as project needs evolve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">The Designer will work closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and other designers on a diverse portfolio of <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 13px;\">commercial, defense, and other facility-related projects<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">, providing an opportunity to broaden their technical capabilities and gain exposure across multiple engineering disciplines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-size: 13px;\">Develop and modify <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">3D Revit models and 2D design\/construction drawings<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\"> based on engineering sketches, redlines, markups, and verbal or written direction.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">Translate engineering design intent into accurate drawings and models with <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">minimal day-to-day guidance<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">Perform design and drafting assignments within a primary discipline, such as mechanical, electrical, or structural, while supporting other disciplines as needed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">For mechanical assignments, support items such as equipment layouts, piping layouts\/routing, and other mechanical system drawings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">For electrical assignments, support equipment layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, and other electrical design drawings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">Incorporate redlines, markups, and design changes into ongoing project models and drawing packages.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">Develop drawing sheets, cover sheets, indexes, layouts, details, and other project documentation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">Coordinate models and drawings across disciplines to identify potential conflicts and ensure design information is aligned.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">Communicate directly with engineers and other designers to resolve drawing, modeling, and coordination issues.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">Review and <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">self-check work for accuracy, completeness, and consistency<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\"> before submitting deliverables for engineering review.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">Follow company, client, and project design\/drafting standards.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">Maintain project drawings, models, files, and related documentation in an organized manner.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">Assemble and issue complete project deliverable packages, including drawing PDFs, Revit\/CAD files, 3D models, specifications, and other supporting documentation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">Complete assignments within established project schedules and budgeted hours.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;\">Support multiple project types and disciplines based on workload and project needs.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>WHAT YOU BRING<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 13px;\">3+ years of relevant Revit design, drafting, or modeling experience preferred.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Strong working knowledge of <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Autodesk Revit is required<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">, including experience developing and modifying 3D models and producing 2D construction\/design documents.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Experience with <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> or similar collaborative Revit environments is preferred.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">AutoCAD experience is a plus but is not a primary requirement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Experience within <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 13px;\">mechanical, electrical\/MEP, or structural design<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> environments. Mechanical or electrical experience is particularly desirable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Ability to understand engineering sketches, redlines, markups, and general design direction and independently translate them into models and drawings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Enough design knowledge within the candidate&#39;s primary discipline to complete assignments without requiring highly detailed, one-to-one drafting instructions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Degree is not required.
