This position is part of the Elevate Program\u2014a paid, structured training and development pathway designed for those with curiosity for technology and a strong work ethic, even if you do not have prior data center or technical experience. As a member of the Engineering and Facilities team, you will support the operation and maintenance of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure, follow detailed safety and operating procedures, and help maintain world-class facility reliability. The Elevate Program provides hands-on experience, professional development, and mentorship, preparing you for a full-time role and future leadership opportunities within a Fortune 100 technology company.<\/p>\n<h3>WHAT YOU&#39;LL DO<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support operation and maintenance of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure in the data center<\/li>\n<li>Uphold and promote top safety standards, including participation in safety initiatives and mitigation planning<\/li>\n<li>Assist with rack installations, power-up activities, and commissioning of data center equipment<\/li>\n<li>Conduct facility rounds, log readings, and troubleshoot issues within service level agreements (SLAs)<\/li>\n<li>Gain competence with systems such as UPS, switchgears, generators, chillers, CRAC\/CRAH, and BMS<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate asset and inventory tracking for data center equipment<\/li>\n<li>Participate in structured technical training and on-the-job learning as part of the Elevate Program, including daily learning modules and mentorship<\/li>\n<li>Support design, build-out, and commissioning activities for new data center infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Follow detailed safety and operating procedures to ensure facility reliability<\/li>\n<li>Utilize Microsoft Office and web-based operational tools for documentation and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Begin on the Rack Install Team, learning foundational data center skills, and transition to assigned shift schedule after initial training<\/li>\n<li>Complete initial onboarding, safety, and compliance training, and participate in online readiness assessments for full-time conversion eligibility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>WHAT YOU BRING<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Motivated and eager to pursue a career in Data Center Engineering Operations with a positive attitude and technical aptitude<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work 10-hour rotating day shifts (Sun-Wed &amp; Wed-Sat), including holidays<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lift and move up to 39 pounds independently; group lifts for 40+ pounds<\/li>\n<li>Capable of performing construction tasks from ladders and standing for extended periods<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word) and web-based operational tools<\/li>\n<li>Must pass a background check and drug screen; reliable transportation required<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to participate in structured training and on-the-job learning through the Elevate Program<\/li>\n<li>Strong interest in electrical, mechanical, or facilities systems<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to upholding safety standards and supporting safety initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn and gain competence with critical infrastructure systems (UPS, switchgears, generators, chillers, CRAC\/CRAH, BMS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>WHAT&#39;S IN IT FOR YOU<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Join a team dedicated to operating and maintaining critical infrastructure across data centers to ensure safe and reliable systems<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Brooksource\u2019s exclusive Elevate Program, offering in-person data center training, technical skill development, and senior mentorship<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to convert to a full-time role with a rapidly growing Fortune 100 technology company<\/li>\n<li>Weekly paychecks, comprehensive health benefits, and more<\/li>\n<li>Access to professional development, leadership pipeline opportunities, and a supportive team environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>ABOUT US<\/h3>\n<p>At Brooksource, relationships are the foundation of everything we do.
