ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a Fortune 15 Healthcare Company, is seeking a Data Analyst on a contract, remote basis to support their healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for writing SQL code, analyzing custom data reports, and utilizing Excel to communicate data results. You will collaborate with team members to present data findings to clients and play an integral role in the revenue-generating operations of the organization. This is an excellent opportunity to be mentored and trained on new technologies in an agile environment, with exposure to industry-leading tools and processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and format data from the Teradata platform
  • Organize and analyze data using Excel, including identifying and managing duplicate entries and writing formulas to communicate results
  • Utilize Python to automate data preparation and perform ad-hoc analyses
  • Develop and communicate custom data reports for client teams in the healthcare industry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present data findings to stakeholders and clients
  • Apply strong data presentation skills to effectively discuss data sets, findings, and insights
  • Stay updated on new technologies and participate in training and mentorship opportunities

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Business, Statistics, or a related field
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with SQL
  • Proficiency in Excel, including V-lookups, duplicate formulas, and data organization
  • Strong data presentation skills and experience discussing data sets and findings with stakeholders
  • Project experience or exposure to Tableau and Python is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly
