Job Description

TITLE: Infrastructure Application Administrator


Dallas, TX

On-Site Role (Contract to Hire)

$40-45 per hour


ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a collaborative and innovative team as an Infrastructure Application Administrator, supporting Deloitte University’s world-class hospitality and leadership development environment. In this contract-to-hire position based in Dallas, TX, you will play a key role in administering, configuring, monitoring, and testing application servers to support both hotel operations and internal employees. You will work closely with senior engineers and vendors to implement technology solutions, ensure system stability, and maintain compliance with security standards. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Administer, configure, monitor, and test application servers for business and network operations, supporting both hotel and internal employee needs
  • Provide technical support for computer hardware and software, ensuring smooth operations at Deloitte University
  • Manage incident, change, and application management processes in alignment with ITIL standards
  • Monitor daily usage data, server backups, upgrades, and patches; respond to and resolve critical production and system issues
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement new applications and technology solutions
  • Manage vendor relationships to maintain system stability and performance, regardless of server and application locations
  • Support hotel-specific technologies, audio-visual service applications, and guestroom technology platforms
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Document processes and create end-user documentation for both internal users and external vendors
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, from interns to executives
  • Analyze business needs to recommend and implement new technology solutions

WHAT YOU BRING


  • 8+ years of experience supporting IT Infrastructure Systems & Network environments, or 6 years with an advanced degree
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Windows environments, including Windows Server administration and maintenance (2016-2022)
  • Basic understanding of application troubleshooting and Microsoft Office/365
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and/or relevant IT experience
  • Experience with incident management, server deployment, application management, and change management
  • Familiarity with monitoring, alert response, and compliance & security standards
  • 2+ years supporting project coordination/management (preferred)
  • Experience with scripting protocols (Powershell, VBS, Python, etc.) (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications (MCSE, Azure/AWS/GCP Cloud) (preferred)
  • General understanding of cybersecurity best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for a variety of end users, including executives
  • Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor
  • Team-oriented with a troubleshooting mindset and eagerness to learn new systems and applications
  • Familiarity with access control systems, VMWare ESXi, Infor HMS, Sales & Catering platforms, hotel guestroom technology (InfoValue/Crave/JamF MDM), root cause analysis, and basic IP scheming
