Job Description
Fullstack Engineer
Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Hybrid role
Compensation: $48 - $53 per hour
6-month Contract-to-Hire
ABOUT THE ROLE
Brooksource is seeking a Fullstack Engineer for a hybrid role based in Indianapolis, IN, with a 6-month contract-to-hire arrangement. This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys working across the full stack, including frontend interfaces, backend services, integrations, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices. You will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and supporting modern web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our technology stack. Experience with Salesforce development is helpful but not required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, develop, test, and support full-stack web applications
- Build responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and technical documentation
WHAT YOU BRING
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Strong object-oriented programming and software design skills
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development practices
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience with SQL, relational databases, and data modeling
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with Python (preferred)
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure (preferred)
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) (preferred)
- Experience developing on the Salesforce platform, including Apex and Lightning Web Components (preferred)
- Salesforce certifications are a plus
