ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Level 2) for a long-term, onsite contract position in Baxley, GA. As a Project Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects within a cross-functional environment. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple priorities, drive project success, and uphold quality and compliance standards throughout the project lifecycle.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks and providing direction
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial alignment
• Define and control project scope, documenting and communicating changes as needed
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Create and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality and compliance standards
• Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Resolve issues and escalate risks when appropriate
• Lead project closeout activities, including stakeholder sign-off and lessons learned

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, engineering, or a related field
• 5–10 years of project management experience
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred
• Proficiency with project management tools and software
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
