·      Experience with LAN and wireless testing, fiber optic test equipment, and various cabling types.

·      Familiarity with cable identification, terminating, and testing cables.

·      Minimum of two years of experience working in a Telco central office environment.

·      Electrical/electronic background.

·      Effective computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products to include Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SAP, and Outlook.

·      Prioritize safety, environmental consciousness, and attention to detail.

·      Self-starter with a heightened focus on safe work habits and behaviors.

·      Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

·      Ability to keep work sites clean and organized.

·      Physical ability to lift 45 pounds and distinguish colors.

·      Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle able to navigate various terrains and transport moderate amounts of electronic equipment.

·      Must have basic hand tools and safety shoes. We will provide specialty tools, test sets, laptop, and PPE.

·      Must be willing to work overtime, which could impact holidays and weekends.

Education Requirements:

·      High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

·      A college degree or military experience with 3 years of related work experience, or 5+ years of related experience, may be accepted.
