Microsoft Dynamics 365 Product Owner
Birmingham, AL (Hybrid Role)
Contract-to-hire
Compensation: $45 - $50 per hour
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Product Owner for a contract-to-hire position in a hybrid setting based in Birmingham, AL. This role is pivotal in supporting strategic initiatives within a healthcare-focused organization by combining business analysis, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and CRM platform support. As the Product Owner, you will act as a liaison between business and technology teams, translating business needs into scalable solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365. You will work closely with stakeholders across multiple departments, support system enhancements, drive adoption of CRM capabilities, and coordinate initiatives that align with organizational goals. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven professional who enjoys working at the intersection of business and technology, shaping CRM strategy, driving process improvements, and supporting high-impact initiatives that influence business outcomes across the enterprise.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements
- Support the enhancement, optimization, and ongoing utilization of Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Collaborate with business, operational, and technology teams to develop and implement solutions that improve processes and user experiences
- Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for increased efficiency, automation, and optimization
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities
- Develop reports, dashboards, and communications that support data-driven decision making
- Work with internal teams and vendors to support CRM-related initiatives and enhancements
- Monitor project progress, manage competing priorities, and communicate status updates to stakeholders
- Support strategic planning efforts and contribute to organizational growth initiatives
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, CRM administration, project coordination, or strategic initiatives
- Experience supporting or working within Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and leading efforts across multiple teams
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience developing strategies and executing plans that support organizational objectives
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience within healthcare or another highly regulated industry (preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 functionality and best practices (preferred)
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) (preferred)
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies (preferred)
- Experience leading cross-functional projects involving business, operational, and technology stakeholders (preferred)
- Experience managing vendor and external partner relationships (preferred)
- PMP certification or formal project management training (preferred)
- Experience with reporting, dashboards, workflow automation, and process improvement initiatives (preferred)
