Enterprise Analyst
Hybrid Role
Compensation: $45
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Analyst to join a project-based team dedicated to remediating desktop vulnerabilities, consolidating and streamlining desktop applications, and implementing robust application policies and processes. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of analysts to address a backlog of OS, framework (such as .NET), and desktop application vulnerabilities, ensuring that remediation efforts align with business needs and do not disrupt critical business functions. You will be responsible for building and automating remediation packages, cataloging and vetting desktop applications for compliance and risk, reducing application redundancy, and establishing an effective application request process through ServiceNow. This position requires strong technical expertise in enterprise-level desktop support, advanced troubleshooting, and a proactive approach to process improvement and business continuity.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Remediate vulnerabilities across desktop OS, frameworks (e.g., .NET), and applications to ensure a secure environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from remediation activities, collaborating with team members to maintain business continuity
- Work closely with business stakeholders to align remediation efforts and avoid interruption of critical business functions
- Build, package, and automate remediation processes using Microsoft SCCM and related tools
- Catalog all desktop applications, identifying those vetted and approved through purchasing and risk assessment processes
- Reduce the number of desktop applications by consolidating redundant or overlapping tools
- Implement and maintain a robust application request and approval process via ServiceNow
- Provide Tier 3+ enterprise desktop analyst support, including advanced IT escalation for networking, group policy, and security issues
- Administer workstations, including management of Active Directory and Group Policy
- Utilize PowerShell and Microsoft desktop technologies (Windows 10 and higher, M365) for automation, support, and process improvement
- Participate in project management activities related to vulnerability remediation, application consolidation, and process implementation
WHAT YOU BRING
- Six (6) years of demonstrated technical experience in enterprise desktop analyst support (Tier 3+)
- Expertise in Microsoft SCCM for packaging and deploying applications
- Experience in vulnerability remediation for desktop OS, frameworks, and applications
- Project management experience in IT environments
- Advanced IT escalation support, including networking, group policy, and security
- Workstation administration skills, including Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
- Proficiency with Microsoft desktop technology products (Windows 10 and higher, M365)
- PowerShell scripting expertise for automation and support
