Associate Software Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Associate Software Engineer specialized/has interest in front-end development to join a fast-paced team focused on developing modern web and mobile applications. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer with strong JavaScript and React experience who is excited to build user-facing applications and contribute to innovative projects leveraging AI-powered development tools.

You will work closely with senior engineers and technical leaders while supporting a growing React Native initiative. Success in this role requires strong technical fundamentals, curiosity, self-motivation, and the ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly evolving technology environment.

Responsibilities

·     Develop and maintain front-end applications using React and TypeScript

·     Contribute to mobile application development efforts utilizing React Native

·     Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with a focus on performance and usability

·     Collaborate with engineers, technical leads, and product stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle

·     Participate in code reviews and team discussions to continuously improve code quality

·     Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and accelerate delivery

·     Troubleshoot bugs, optimize application performance, and implement enhancements

·     Learn and adopt new technologies and development practices as business needs evolve

Required Qualifications

·     1-3 years of software engineering experience

·     Strong proficiency in JavaScript

·     Experience developing applications using React

·     Familiarity with TypeScript

·     Understanding of front-end development best practices, including component-based architecture and responsive design

·     Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

·     Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and work independently

·     Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

·     Exposure to or experience with React Native

·     Experience developing mobile applications for iOS or Android platforms

·     Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar technologies

·     Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS

·     Experience working in Agile development environments
