ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead a major SAP modernization and migration initiative within the Customer Success organization. This contract-to-hire role, based in Midtown Tampa with a hybrid work schedule (1 day remote per week), involves supporting a customer-facing SAP environment that is critical to business processes such as billing and other customer-related functions. The SAP modernization initiative is currently in the planning/pre-execution stage, providing an opportunity for you to help establish project structure, coordinate stakeholders, and support the organization as it moves into execution. You will bridge technical and business teams, communicate complex information effectively, and drive execution in a dynamic environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support the planning and execution of an enterprise SAP modernization and migration initiative within the Customer Success organization.
• Establish and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
• Coordinate activities across SAP/technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
• Support the migration and integration of SAP systems and related business processes.
• Work closely with technical teams to understand migration activities, system dependencies, integrations, and potential technical risks.
• Coordinate requirements, project priorities, testing activities, issue resolution, and overall execution.
• Identify project roadblocks and collaborate with teams to drive issues toward resolution.
• Monitor project progress and provide clear updates regarding timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and overall status.
• Serve as a key point of coordination between technical teams and customer-facing/business stakeholders.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the SAP environment while ensuring project activities remain aligned with business objectives.
• Support the organization through the transition from the current SAP environment to the future-state environment.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 15–20 years of professional/technical experience preferred; flexibility for candidates with strong SAP and migration experience.
• Strong experience supporting or managing SAP implementations, migrations, modernization initiatives, or integrations.
• Significant hands-on experience working within SAP environments.
• Experience coordinating complex enterprise technology projects with multiple technical and business stakeholders.
• Understanding of SAP system integrations, dependencies, and migration-related activities.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams and communicate complex information to business leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project planning, organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, identify risks, and drive execution.
• Comfortable working in evolving environments where requirements may change.
• PMP certification is not required.
