Morris Plains, NJ (Hybrid)
On-Site Role (Contract)
$28 - $30 per hour (dependent on experience)
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a Fortune 15 healthcare organization, is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst for a contract position based in Morris Plains, NJ (hybrid). In this role, you will support teams focused on affordability programs, patient insurance solutions, and business operations. You will play a key part in transforming complex data into actionable insights that influence product strategy, operational decision-making, and executive-level discussions. This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional seeking visibility across both operational and product-focused initiatives, while helping to improve affordability and accessibility for patients. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analyze trends, build dashboards, and support reporting initiatives, all while staying current with emerging analytics and AI capabilities. The position offers mentorship, training on niche technologies, and the chance to make a tangible impact within a leading healthcare company.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Analyze data related to affordability programs, patient assistance initiatives, and insurance-focused products
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or Tableau
- Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources
- Perform operational reporting and business analysis related to retail channel performance
- Partner with business leaders to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
- Stay informed on emerging analytics and AI capabilities to improve reporting and insight generation
- Provide actionable insights to influence product strategy and operational decision-making
- Support executive-level discussions with data-driven recommendations
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Advanced SQL skills with experience querying large datasets
- Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions in Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Experience with Python is a plus
