Compensation: $60 - $65 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

Brooksource is seeking a seasoned Project Manager III (PM3) to lead and support a portfolio of critical database and platform engineering initiatives within a large enterprise environment in St. Louis, MO. Reporting directly to Program Leadership and embedded within a high-visibility database and platform engineering organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving data platform modernization and cloud transformation efforts, including Oracle-to-GCP migration projects. As the primary project lead for key stakeholder groups, you will operate in a highly visible environment with executive-level reporting, managing end-to-end project activities such as planning, execution, risk management, and delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams. This is not a hands-on technical role, but a solid understanding of database technologies and cloud concepts is essential. You will partner closely with engineering teams, translating complex technical updates into clear, actionable executive-level communications. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead end-to-end project management activities for database and cloud migration initiatives, including Oracle to GCP migration
  • Drive project planning, execution, risk management, and delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Partner closely with database engineers and technical teams to translate technical updates into clear executive-level reporting
  • Own stakeholder communication, including leading project readouts and providing updates in high-visibility forums
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in project documentation, presentations, and reporting deliverables
  • Manage timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional coordination within a fast-paced enterprise environment
  • Quickly ramp into an existing portfolio of work and scale ownership based on business needs

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with demonstrated success at the PM3 level or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of database technologies (conceptual knowledge required; hands-on development not required)
  • Experience supporting cloud or data platform initiatives (GCP, AWS, or similar)
  • Exceptional communication skills for interfacing with technical teams and executive stakeholders
  • High attention to detail with proven ability to deliver polished, accurate outputs in high-pressure environments
  • Experience working in enterprise environments with complex stakeholder dynamics
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and drive project planning, execution, and risk management
  • Proficiency in stakeholder communication, including executive-level reporting and project readouts
  • Nice to Have: Prior experience supporting Charter Communications or similar telecommunications organizations
  • Nice to Have: Exposure to AI/ML concepts or general AI awareness
