Junior Systems Analyst

On-Site Role

Compensation: $28 - $28

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a Systems Analyst to join their team, responsible for providing Level 1 support for assigned applications and ensuring alignment with company strategies and goals. As a key member of the team, you will maintain and modify software programs, resolve production incident tickets, and support production releases. You will also assist with disaster recovery events, support vulnerability management, and ensure application compliance with internal standards. The role involves creating presentation content for senior leadership, maintaining system documentation, and actively communicating with stakeholders, users, and technical teams. The position requires participation in the team’s on-call rotation and offers the opportunity to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Maintain and modify software/application programs as assigned
• Perform first level support for production incident tickets
• Research and assist in the resolution of production incident tickets
• Collaborate with team members to research and restart system jobs as needed
• Assist with production releases and provide ongoing support
• Create presentation content for team presentations to senior leadership
• Aid in the coordination of disaster recovery events
• Support vulnerability management activities and triage events
• Maintain and update documentation of program, procedure changes, and system documentation
• Work with technical teams interfacing with assigned applications to mitigate issues
• Actively communicate with stakeholders, users, and teams to provide technical support
• Schedule and facilitate meetings as needed
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotation as scheduled
• Ensure application compliance with all standards within CMDB

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
• Experience with SQL and familiarity with writing simple SQL queries
• Basic understanding of databases
• Experience creating process maps and diagrams
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Experience creating process maps using tools such as Visio or PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders
• Ability to schedule and facilitate meetings as needed
• Willingness to participate in the team’s on-call rotation
