Project Manager
Remote (Columbus, OH preferred)
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Project Manager who genuinely enjoys bringing order to complex, fast-moving work. In this role, you'll be the steady hand across several business and technology initiatives—leading status meetings, keeping commitments on track, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll partner closely with stakeholders across the business, spot risks before they become problems, and guide releases smoothly from planning all the way to production. If you're someone who takes pride in keeping teams aligned and projects moving forward, and you're ready to jump in and start leading status calls within your first week, we'd love to talk.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and facilitate status meetings, ensuring action items are tracked to closure
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure commitments are met
- Oversee project releases from planning through production deployment
- Own and maintain RAID logs, project plans, and key milestones
- Identify project risks early and drive mitigation plans to prevent delivery impacts
- Escalate issues appropriately and proactively remove project blockers
- Drive accountability across cross-functional teams and deliver executive status reporting
- Utilize Jira for dashboards, reporting, dependency management, and release tracking
- Adapt to both Agile and Waterfall project environments as needed
- Quickly learn new business domains and manage complex initiatives
- Communicate effectively and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders
WHAT YOU BRING
- Strong risk identification, management, and mitigation experience
- Expertise with Jira, including dashboards, reporting, dependency management, and release tracking
- Ability to run status calls quickly after joining
- Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Ability to quickly learn new business domains and manage complex initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to drive accountability across cross-functional teams
- Experience escalating issues appropriately and removing blockers
