ABOUT THE ROLE

Our leading federal integrator partner is supporting an active government contract to implement and support a Salesforce participant engagement platform. As the Salesforce Data Cloud Architect, you will serve as the technical authority across Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, Data 360, and enterprise integrations, setting the architectural foundation for the team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a live federal environment where data sensitivity, compliance, and reliability are paramount. You will design, validate, and govern solutions, ensuring the platform meets the highest standards for security and performance. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the end-to-end architecture of Salesforce Data Cloud, including data streams, identity resolution, data unification, and activation strategies.
• Design and govern integrations between Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, Data 360, and external research systems.
• Define data modeling standards, integration patterns, and platform governance frameworks for the broader team to follow.
• Serve as the senior technical voice in stakeholder discussions, translating complex architectural decisions into clear guidance for both technical teams and federal agency contacts.
• Partner with Apex and LWC developers to ensure platform components align with the overall data and AI architecture.
• Proactively identify risks, performance bottlenecks, and architectural gaps, and drive them to resolution.
• Provide hands-on architectural leadership for Agentforce Voice and AI-driven engagement capabilities on the platform.
• Ensure compliance with data sensitivity, security, PHI/PII, and federal data governance standards.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Deep, hands-on expertise with Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, Data 360, and enterprise integration architecture.
• Strong Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) development skills—this is a hands-on architect role.
• Experience with Agentforce Voice and AI-driven platform capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Proven track record designing and governing complex, multi-system Salesforce architectures in regulated or federal environments.
• Excellent communication skills for leading technical discussions and translating architectural complexity for diverse stakeholders.
• Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant or equivalent advanced certification (preferred).
• Prior experience supporting federal health or research programs (preferred).
• Familiarity with PHI/PII compliance requirements and federal data governance standards (preferred).
• Ability to proactively identify risks, performance bottlenecks, and architectural gaps and drive resolution.
